Castleknock were all fired up for their home match against Templeogue Utd.
Castleknock were out for revenge after an earlier defeat by Templeogue earlier in the year.
It was some great work from David, Mohammed and team captain Mustafa that forced Templeogue to make an error early in the game and put the ball in their own net.
Templeogue responded with an attach and nearly equalised with a great shot, but Andy was well positioned and cleared the ball off the line to keep his team ahead.
Templeogue managed to equalise later in the first half, but John managed to put Casleknock ahead before the half time whistle after he made a break from a throw in and hammered the ball past the goalkeeper to make it 2-1 at the half time break.
The second half was all about Castleknock, who piled on the pressure and kept the play in the Templeogue half. Andy, Dylan, Omar and Frank were solid in defence and allowed nothing to pass them by, and gave Donagh a chance to sit back and enjoy the game from his goal area.
An excellent team performance all around, which helped Robert, John and Kevin to give their team a huge 8-1 victory, with Kevin celebrating his hat-trick.
Tough choice for man of the match today but it goes to Mustafa who worked very hard all over the pitch and had a key role in some of the goals.
Well done to everyone on the team, Templeogue suffered a heavy defeat today to a much better team!

Clean Sheet for Castleknock
Castleknock travelled out to Dundrum today to face a team who had beaten them at home earlier in the year.
This time it was Castleknock who came out better with some very early chances in the game, with Robert getting a shot on goal in the opening minutes. Castleknock were very strong and playing great football with some great attacking play from Kevin, Sam and Gavan who were keeping the pressure on Dundrum. John also made some great breaks from midfield and created a lot of problems for Dundrum.
Then towards the end of the first half Castleknock went ahead with a perfect strike from David, which went over the keepers head and in to the top corner of the goal. All the hard work had paid off but there was more to do..
Castleknock kept the pressure on the home side with the help of some solid defending by Zuhdi and team captain Cormac. Dundrum's chance on the wings were quickly stopped by some excellent tackling and speed of Dylan and Frank.
The second half started with Omar filling for Zuhdi who had a great first half.
Mohammed and Mustafa worked well together to create some great chances on the right hand side, while Cathal and Shane created chances on the left. Castleknock had more chances in the second half but were caught be some questionable off side decisions.
Overall it was a great team effort and Donagh commanded the goal area to ensure that Dundrum did not equalise.
It was a tough decision this week to choose a man of the match with some exceptional performances by Mohammed, Robert, John, Sam and goal scorer David but this week it goes to Dylan, who was filling in for an injured Andy today. Dylan's tackling and speed to cover the right hand side was crucial to the result.
Well done all on a great team effort.

Castleknock share the points with league leaders
Castleknock Celtic traveled to Kiltiernan today to face Wayside Celtic for a league match.
The match got started once the referee was happy that all jerseys were tucked in and the action started.
Both teams were defending well as there were plenty of chances at both ends, but it was Castleknock who got off the mark first after some great work by Omar, Cathal and Robert to present Kevin with a great scoring chance.
Kevin finished well to make it 1-0 to the visitors.
Unfortunately it didn't take long for Wayside to level the score with an unstoppable shot that went in the top corner.
Castleknock broke again before the half time break when Kevin was taken down in the penalty area, Gavan had recovered the ball and the ref waved for play on.
Gavan struck the ball well but was unlucky not to score as the keeper somehow managed to stop the shot, Gavan was straight in for the rebound but the keeper was lucky again and managed to keep it out.
It was all level in the second half and more chances were created for both sides, but Castleknock showed great strength in the back as Andy, Dylan and Zuhdi worked hard to stop Wayside from creating chances. Sam had an excellent game filling in at left back and never gave the opposition a chance.
Castleknock had plenty of chances in the second half and finished as Mustafa was making an excellent break for the Wayside goal but was stopped by the full time whistle, making the final score 1-1.
A great team effort today and everybody played well.
Man of the match today goes to goalkeeper Donagh who had an excellent game today and made a crucial save late in the second half to ensure the point for Castleknock Celtic.
